01
Survey finding and project brief
The existing façade used combustible PUR-insulated panels and had no fire barriers. The proposed conversion to flats could not proceed with that system in place, so the cladding needed full replacement and a documented fire-safe build-up.
02
Principal-contractor delivery
TCR acted as Principal Contractor, coordinating the façade survey, design, specification, procurement, planning and building-control liaison, site setup, health and safety, access, installation quality assurance, final inspection and handover.
03
Fire-safe rainscreen system
The replacement build-up used a Fastframe support system, non-combustible Rockwool Rainscreen DuoSlab insulation, open-state cavity barriers and James Hardie HardiePanel fibre-cement cladding. The design combined fire performance, moisture management and a modern architectural finish.
