Total Cladding & Roofing

Commercial Roofing Project Enquiry

Start your project brief

Tell us about the building and receive a recommended next step.

The guided project brief asks one clear question at a time, shows the likely next step and sends TCR a structured summary. You can add photographs, surveys, drawings, specifications or tender documents where available.

Answer first

What happens after I submit a project brief?

TCR reviews the building location, issue or project stage, roof or cladding area, building use, timing and supporting information. The team can then confirm whether the useful next action is telephone review, document review, a site survey, a budget exercise or a tender discussion.

01An active leak or urgent defect
02An ageing roof needs a condition plan
03A refurbishment project is at budget stage
04A specification or tender package is ready

Practical routes

The options depend on condition, risk and the result you need.

The following routes are examples, not an automatic recommendation. A survey, document review or technical assessment may be required before a reliable scope is confirmed.

Urgent issue route

Prioritises location, risk, affected area, access and immediate operational impact.

Survey route

Collects the information needed to define a useful roof or cladding survey.

Planned project route

Focuses on outcome, size, programme, operating constraints and available records.

Tender route

Captures the return date, project documents and information required for contractor review.

What you should receive

A useful decision, not another vague contractor conversation.

The level of detail depends on the project stage, but the information should help you understand the route, responsibilities and next action.

01A structured project summary
02A recommended first step
03A clear list of supporting information
04A useful basis for the first TCR conversation

Live-site planning

The building’s operation changes the plan.

The form does not require you to diagnose the roof. Select “not sure” where necessary and explain what is happening in plain English.

Common questions

Answers before you arrange the next step.

These answers explain the usual starting point. The actual scope still depends on the building and project information.

Do I need drawings before contacting TCR?

No. A postcode, building use, photographs and a clear description can be enough to begin. Drawings, surveys and specifications can be added where they already exist.

Can I add more than one file?

Yes. Use “Add another file” to include additional photographs or project documents in the guided brief.

Will the result be a quotation?

No. The recommended route is an initial next step based on the information supplied. A survey, document review or technical assessment may be needed before a scope and quotation can be confirmed.

Can I call instead of using the form?

Yes. Telephone contact remains available, particularly for active leaks. The guided brief is useful because it captures the building information that helps the team respond efficiently.

Can the work be planned around an operating business?

Yes, where the project and site conditions allow it. Access, segregation, temporary weathering, noisy work, deliveries, stock protection and any shutdown periods should be considered before the programme is agreed.

What information should I send first?

A site postcode, building use, photographs, approximate area, target date and any existing surveys, drawings or specifications will make the first review more useful. You can add supporting files through the guided project brief.

Your next step

Tell us what is happening at the building.

Complete the guided project brief and add any photographs or documents. TCR will receive a structured summary rather than a vague contact form.
